fortnite mega season launch |  2023
creative direction

to celebrate the launch of mega, a japanese inspired season in fortnite, my team and i were tasked with creating an announcement video fitting of the new seasons theme. given the games continued success with anime crossovers, we created an anime inspired launch trailer to hype up the audience, scored with woo! go! by atarashii gakko!

we also developed a series of gifs inspired by classic, exaggerated anime tropes, transforming the in game characters into reactions for discord, twitter, instagram and twitch.
